Postdoctoral Researchers
Geologist and Ph.D. in Earth Sciences from the National University of Río Negro, Argentina. His research has focused on understanding the impact of climate on mass movements in the Andean Cordillera. Additionally, he has investigated the spatiotemporal variability of fluvial sediment discharge and the environmental control of mountain erosion rates. His postdoctoral study at CR2 aims to examine how glacial sediment discharge in the subtropical Andes might vary in the future because of climate change.

Governance and science-policy interface: Postdoctoral Researcher
Researcher studying mobility and social cohesion in the face of climate and environmental change. She obtained her doctorate from Wageningen University, Netherlands. Her research focuses on mobilities and immobilities, employing analyses from local perceptions of the issue and the political ecology of climate change and adaptation. She also has experience in planned relocation and migrant reception topics. Her postdoctoral study at CR2 aims to generate a deeper understanding of human mobility in the context of climate and environmental changes in Chile and Latin America, specifically focusing on rural populations and gender.
